Even though he had a lot of successes, Variety said in 2020 that Braugher did not have a big lead part in a “commercially successful project.”

Braugher told the news source that putting his family and personal life first at different times in his work may have hurt his chances of success.

The star from “She Said” kept his personal life quiet. In 2014, he told The New York Times that he had been through some “stumbling blocks.”
