The initiative focuses on transitioning from traditional service models to evidence-based operations. This transformation targets five primary operational areas: tourism policy development, destination marketing, visitor services, data analysis, and general business operations.

Digital & Operational Impact Breakdown The rollout of AI and digital tools is specifically targeted at the following sectors:

  • Destination Management: Implementation of smarter management systems for high-traffic sites, specifically the Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap.
  • Visitor Experience: Shift toward personalized itineraries and faster service delivery based on AI-analyzed visitor behavior.
  • SME Integration: Providing small and medium tourism enterprises with digital tools to increase international market competitiveness.
  • Regional Standardization: Integration of the ASEAN Safe and Warm Stamp, a certification covering eight categories of tourism services to ensure uniform hygiene and safety standards.
