To get a new or renewal of the food safety and standards to act 2007 at the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) website just follow these easy steps:
- Go on the official web page FSSAI & click on FIND A FOOD LICENSE LINK from the home page & enter Fssai food license Fssai.
- Once on the find a food license page, click on FIND A FOOD LICENSED AGENT FOR REGISTRATION LINK & enter your state/city name. All registered FSSAI Food License Agencies will be displayed for you to choose from.
- You are required to fill up and submit an online application form with all details including the declaration of criminal records (if any) at the end of which Fssai
- After you have applied, Fssai food license FSSAI will verify all necessary documents and process your online application for 7 days.
- Once the application gets verified by FSSAI, you can pay the license fees dues to any District Central Cooperative Bank Branch across India within 30 days of filing this new or renewal application for a food business license with FSSAI.
One can be issued with a license under FSS Act if he/she satisfies all conditions laid down in Section 22 of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India Act, 2006.
