- Under the Security Options, please verify that the value in the Password (Network Key) field matches with your router password.
If your password does not match, then change it to your router password.

- Now, try to reconnect your WiFi enabled devices to the extender.
Steps to reconnect your NETGEAR WiFi range extender through a WiFi network:
- Click and hold onto the Factory Settings button (which is located on the side panel) for around 7 seconds.
Your range extender will automatically reset.
- Now, open the wifi menu on computer device’s and tries to connect to the extender’s default WiFi network that is NETGEAR_EXT.
- Launch a new web browser on your connected device.
- Type mywifiext local into the web browser’s address bar.
- Press Enter key and click on the Search option.
The login page will be display on the screen.
- Then, enter your username and password in it.
