Last month, we saw that the Chinese smartphone brand Itel had partnered with Reliance Jio to provide an ultra-affordable smartphone to all Jio customers in India.
Keeping the same promise, the company recently launched the Itel A23 Pro in India. Its retail price is kept at Rs 4,999. But the happy thing is that, Itel has also announced that they are going to offer the A23 Pro to all Jio customers at a discount price.

The Itel A23 Pro is essentially an entry-level 4G-capable smartphone that caters to India’s low-income population. The device features a 5-inch display with 480 x 854p resolution , a low-end VGA camera and a soft flash at the front.
The rear of the Itel A23 Pro features a single 2MP camera rear camera capable of capturing low-resolution images. At the same time, you are going to get a quad-core Unisoc SC9832E chip in it which is clocked at 1.4GHz. You will also get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Also, there is support for a microSD card slot that can help increase storage up to 32GB.
Apart from this, there is a 2,300mAh battery inside the phone , which seems to be quite right. This device comes with 4G VoLTE and dual-sim support. With which you can use your Jio / Airtel / Vi SIM with it. The device also has Smart Face Unlock, about which the company claims that it can unlock the device in 0.2 seconds.
It runs Android 10 (Android Go Edition) out-of-the-box and comes in two color variants, such as Sapphire Blue and Lake Blue.
Itel A23 Pro’s price and availability to Jio Users
Although the device sells for Rs 4,999 for general customers in India, Jio users can get the A23 Pro for just Rs 3,899. This makes the device the most affordable 4G-capable smartphone ever in India. Apart from this, itel and Jio users will get benefits of Rs 3,000, including recharge plans starting from Rs 249 and above.
