The online applications of Indian Coast Guard GD Recruitment 2021 will start from 02 July. Eligible candidates will be able to apply in the prescribed format on or before 16 July 2021. The direct link of the notification is given below.
Vacancy Details (ICG Vacancy 2021 Details)
A total of 350 vacancies will be filled in various posts through Indian Coast Guard GD Recruitment 2021. These include Navik (General Duty) – 260 posts, Navik (Domestic Branch) – 50 posts, Yantrik (Mechanical) – 20 posts, Yantrik (Electrical) – 13 posts and Yantrik (Electronics) – 07 posts.
When and where will the training take place?
The basic training of the eligible candidates to be selected in the allotted trade for Sailor (GD) and Mechanical will commence from February 2022 at INS Chilka. While the training of Navik (Domestic Branch) will be held in April 2022.
Who can apply?
Navik (General Duty) – 12th pass with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) can apply.
Navik (Domestic Branch) – 10th pass from a Board of Education recognized by the Board of School Education (COBSE).
Mechanical: 10th class pass from a Board of Education recognized by the Board of School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) from an institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) .
Eligible candidates from 18 years to 22 years can apply.
Eligible candidates to be appointed to the post of Navik General Duty and Domestic Branch will get the benefit of Rs 21700 Basic Pay along with other applicable allowances under Pay Level-3. Whereas for the mechanical post, the base pay – Rs 29200 (pay level-5) and other allowances including DA will be available.
