Australian all-rounder Daniel Semes of Royal Challengers Bangalore has become coronavirus positive. On Wednesday (April 7), the franchisee has been informed about this.
Symes was associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore team on April 3 with seven negative reports. But he has come positive in the required testing under the IPL guidelines. This was the second test done at the team hotel.
In a statement issued by the team, it is said that Symes does not see any symptoms and is currently in isolation with health facilities.
The statement further said, ‘The Royal Challengers Bangalore medical team is constantly in touch with Daniel Semmes and is constantly monitoring his health. Also, the BCCI protocols are also being followed.
Devdutt Padikkal, who scored the most runs for Bangalore in 2020, was also infected with Coronavirus earlier. He is not yet associated with the team. He is currently in Isolation at his home in Bangalore.
