Rahul and Deepak Hooda took over after Gayle was dismissed. The two batsmen shared a 105-run partnership for the third wicket. Deepak was victimized by Chris Morris. Punjab’s innings collapsed after the partnership broke down. Going towards the century, Rahul was out on the second ball of the last over. Rahul’s claim for the World Cup
The last few months have not been as good for KL Rahul. He was able to score only 15 runs in 4 innings of the T20 series against England. However, in the ODIs, he regained his form and scored a century. For the T20 World Cup, it is important to have a good performance in the IPL for the selection of the Indian team. KL Rahul has started with a strong claim.
