The cases of corona epidemic are continuously increasing in Kerala. At the same time, the Kerala unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Saturday requested the new cabinet in the state to take oath through video conferencing due to the state Kovid-19 status. The IMA said in a statement that taking the oath through the virtual platform would be a good step in the prevention of Kovid.

At the same time, Kerala has widely discussed that one reason for the outbreak of the second wave is not to follow proper Kovid norms like social distance and proper use of masks at the time of elections. The new government, which knows the minds of the people and upholds the scientific outlook, is coming to power and at a time when the swearing in will take place through virtual platforms, it will be a good message of prevention.

Also congratulated the state government on increasing the lockdown for another week. The IMA has made this request amid reports that the Left Democratic Front LDF government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will hold the swearing-in ceremony on May 20 at the Central Stadium.

On the other hand, when the Chief Minister was told about the request of the IMA, he said in a press conference that the swearing-in ceremony will be held in view of the current Kovid situation and there will be minimum participation in it. Earlier, media reports claimed that more than 700 people were expected to be invited for the swearing-in ceremony.
