A British student Mahira Zulfikar (26) has been shot dead in Lahore city of Pakistan. It is being told that two Pakistani goons wanted to forcibly marry a British student and shot her dead on refusal. The victim had come to Pakistan to attend a friend’s wedding but stayed in Pakistan only after a huge quarantine fee was levied in Britain.
A law scholar in Britain, Mahira lived in south-west London. He was found dead in the Defense District of Lahore on Monday. According to local media, on Monday morning, 4 assailants allegedly entered Myra’s bedroom and shot her dead. Myra came to Pakistan to attend her friend Tabassum’s wedding.
Lahore Police has met both Saad and Zaheer
Mahira decided to stay with her grandmother in Lahore after Britain’s Pakistan was listed on the Corona virus red list. She was hopeful that Pakistan would be removed from the Red List by next month and that she would return to Britain without paying a huge quarantine fee. The local goons living in Lahore were harassing Saad and Zaheer Mahira and despite several complaints of action, the police had not taken any action.
It is being told that the Lahore police met both Saad and Zaheer. Both Saad and Zaheer wanted to marry Myra forcibly. They were threatening Mahira for this. However Mahira did not approve of this. Instead of catching the culprits, the police have taken into custody the girl who lives with Mahira. Mahira was hit by two bullets and her entire room was filled with blood.
