BMW has given the Z4 roadster an update for the 2023 model year. This includes a wider color palette, more standard features, and a modified grille.
There are also new optional 19-inch alloy wheels. However, it does not get the long-rumored manual drive gearbox option.
The power output of the sDrive30i remains unchanged. There are two models to choose: the M40i and the sDrive30i. The first model features a turbocharged 4-cylinder
engine with 255 HP (259 PS / 193kW) and 295 Lb-ft (395 Nm) respectively. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h), in 5.2 seconds.
The M40i comes with the 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder inline-six engine. This model can do the sprint of 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h), in 4.4 seconds. Both models
have a top speed limit of 155mph (249 km/h). In both cases the power is transferred to rear wheels by an eight-speed auto.
Trim pack, previously an option for the four-cylinder car but always standard for M40i, adds a more aggressive set, deeper side skirts, 18-inch tires, and more aggressive bumpers.
