Manchester City won another routine victory in the Premier League. It defeated Southampton 4-0. Erling Haland, who continues his impressive scoring record, was pleased with the result.

Southampton faced the daunting task of trying stop a City team who had scored 20 goals over the five previous matches in all competitions.
"The result was good, we play well. We failed to break their high pressing. We suffered a lot last season against them, but today were much better," Pep guardiola, the City boss, stated.
"Erling Hailand had more chances. He scored a stunning goal. It's an amazing weapon for us, a serious threat. I am so satisfied.
Haaland made the goal in the 15th minute. City broke the deadlock by bringing Cancelo to the net. Cancelo scored the goal after a superb solo run
Foden doubled the lead in 32 minutes after he was allowed too much space. He made no mistake and chipped the ball past Gavin Bazunu.
