Redmi Redmi Plus Launched: 5,000mAh Lithium Battery, Fingerprint Sensor, and More for $85

Redmi A1 from Xiaomi India was unveiled last month. The Redmi A1 is the second smartphone that runs Android Go by Xiaomi, the Redmi Go being the first.

Xiaomi Kenya's official social networks teased the Redmi A1 Plus arriving in Kenya on October 7. The phone is currently on sale at Jumia.

Like the leaks suggested the Remdi A1+ works exactly like the Redmi A1. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

It has a 6.52-inch display and a dewdrop notch. The 20/9 panel supports 120Hz touch sampling rates, 400 nits peak brightness level and 70% of NTSC's color gamut.

The MediaTek Helio a22 chipset powering the phone comes paired LPDDR4x RAM with eMMC5.1 storage. It supports Android 12 Go Edition, and draws power via a 5,000mAh battery.
