OnePlus 5 My journey -Realtime Experience & Review

OP5 | Flagship killer | OnePlus 5 | Valuable Android phone

I’ve been dating the OnePlus 5 for about three years now, I got this in July of 2017 and now we’re in August of 2020, which is quite a long time to be stuck using a single phone. I might plan to upgrade soon so just as a token of appreciation to my time with this one here’s a showcasing my experience with the OnePlus 5 over the past three years.

User recommendations:

Battery life although decent and originally still usable, giving me a bare minimum of six and half hours of screen-on time on a heavy day to top it all off there still dash charging which uses this bad boy up in no time.

Daily uses:

let’s talk about wear and tear I spent the past three years using this phone on and off with using sandstone and wooden cases and skin and the metal unibody build has a look at this tradition where there are obvious scratches on the display upfront but I have only myself to blame for that.

Coming back to the OnePlus 5 and software I’ve been loving oxygen OS 10 based on Android 10. There are numerous tweaks that I feel but presenters better than Google itself.

The animation seemed snappier, ram management is superior and the few features that oxygen OS advertises are all genuinely useful.

Updates:

Oneplus promises approved two years of system updates and three years of security patches both of which are only a year less than what the maker of android itself provides. If it helps both the OnePlus 3 and 3T were updated from Android marshmallow to nougat to Oreo and now to pie.

The OnePlus 5 received regular updates from nougat to Oreo to Pie and now sit at a stable release of Android 10 that is 3 generational updates pretty much unheard-of Indian legal system of phones.

Conclusion: OnePlus 5 – value for money

Longevity is one of the key aspects to consider in this world of 50K,60K, 70K phones and I couldn’t think of a better company than OnePlus in the Android space that offers that endurance, that’s been it.
