A new type of pontoon has been popularized recently. This type of pontoon is a niche in the boating industry that is often overlooked. What’s this tiny, hidden, and untapped market? I am referring to compact pontoons.
These boats are not new to most people, but they have been around for a long time. Original manufacturer Kennedy Pontoons has been making compact pontoons ever since 1978 and continues to do so today.

While attending the boat show this past year, I came across these pontoons and wondered why anyone would choose to invest in something similar and not a larger pontoon. A shorter beam or a narrower beam might be what you need for your family! There are many reasons. For more information about fashion, click to fubar news that would be the right place for you.
Different Sizes of Compact Pontoons
There are three sizes of compact pontoons: Narrow Compact and Mini.
Each size has its benefits and abilities for smaller bodies. A pontoon with a narrow beam may be an excellent choice for rivers. A compact boat can be an excellent choice for families who want the luxury of a pontoon but are looking for more affordable options. A mini has enough space for you, your fishing buddy, and a cooler.
Narrow
A standard pontoon beam measures 9 feet long, while a narrower beam can reach 6-8 feet.
Compact
A compact pontoon can have 100 to 160 square feet of deck space. It has a length of between 10 and 20 feet and a maximum beam of 8 feet.
Mini
A mini pontoon can be the smallest size you can find. This one is only 50 square feet and can hold two people, plus a cooler. It’s possible to sunbathe if you are lucky.
Mini pontoons can be so small that they don’t even require an electric motor and are sold as paddle boats or ” pedal Pontoons.”
These rods can be accelerated if needed, but they are not intended for fishing in open water. Never in open waters!
