According to ESPNcricinfo report, this tour of India will start on 13 July. This day will be the first ODI. The second match will be played on 16 and the last match of the ODI series on 19 July. Then on 22nd, the T20 series will begin, whose second and final match will be on 24 and 27 July respectively. No information has been available about where the matches will be played, however, so far no official statement has been revealed about the program towards the BCCI.

According to preliminary information, the Indian team will reach Sri Lanka on 5 July and will also leave for home on 28 July after finishing the series. On reaching Sri Lanka, the team will inevitably have to stay in Quarantine for a week. It will also be divided into two parts for seven days. The first three-day strict quarantine, which will have to be in-room and players will participate in training with each other in the last four days, although the entire process will take place at the hotel and grounds that are part of the bio bubble.
