Nita Abani a Indian philanthropist. She is the founder and chairperson for 'Reliance Foundation. She is married to Mukesh Ambani who is India's richest man.

Nita was born Nita Dalal November 1, 1963 in Mumbai (Maharashtra, India) to Ravindrabhai Dalal und Purnima Dalal. Mamta is her sister.

Nita enjoyed dancing from an early age. She believed that dancing helped her connect to God. It was her way of connecting with her spiritual self and meditating.

Before Nita could start her career, Nita married Mukesh Ambani. He was the son of Dhirubhai Ambani Ambani's head of the 'Reliance" conglomerate. Nita was only 22 years of age at that time.
