Lamborghini to build a twin-turbo V-8 race car for the 2024 LMDh.

Lamborghini released the first tech specs for the LMDh prototype car, which will be used in its upcoming venture into both the Hypercar category of the FIA World 

Endurance Championship or the GTP Class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The V8 twin-turbo hybrid V8 engine will power the vehicle, generating 681 BHP.

Squadra Corse has developed the V8 twin turbo engine. It's an 8-cylinder 90° V-angle engine with a maximum speed of 340 km/h.

We also have more tech details about the Lamborghini LMDh Prototype Car. The vehicle will weight 1030 kg, including fuel and driver. It will measure maximum width 2,000mm and length

5,100mm. The minimum engine weight is 180kg and the wheelbase will measure 3,148mm. The Lamborghini LMDh Prototype Car, which will compete in the IMSA Endurance Cup 2024

Ligier Automotive engineered the base car (spine), with HP Composites, Squadra Corse as long-term partners in GT3/Super Trofeo platforms.
