#1 The Golden Gate Bridge 

It is the most photographed bridge globally, with its towering orange towers reaching 746 feet. It offers stunning views of the city, including the Crissy Field, Fort Point, Baker Beach, and the Marin Headlands.

#2 Alcatraz Island

This island’s prison was one of the most notorious prisons in America, and it operated for 30 years until 1963. It was turned into a tourist destination in 1973 because of some well-known inmates imprisoned there, such as Al Capone and the Birdman.

#3 Ferry Building Marketplace

This is where the city’s primary tri-weekly farmer’s market, which has been in operation for years, can be found. The Cowgirl Creamery, Dandelion Chocolate, and Fort Point Beer Company are businesses inside.

#4 Chinatown 

When compared to other cities’ Chinatowns, San Francisco’s is known to offer a one-of-a-kind experience. It is the biggest outside Asia and North America’s oldest. It was constructed entirely in Chinese style and includes temples, theatres, workshops, tiny enterprises, stores, antique and souvenir shops, tea rooms, and more.

#5 Legion of Honor

This is a magnificent Neoclassical Beaux-Arts building in an incredible location and one of the most beautiful museums in San Francisco. It was presented by Alma de Bretteville Spreckels, a famous socialite, philanthropist, and arts patron.
