A poll indicates that Donald Trump is ahead of President Joe Biden in five of six battleground states that have the potential to determine the victor in the 2024 election.
The Heritage Foundation’s Echelon Insights survey of 2,401 registered voters reveals that Trump leads Biden in the following states: Arizona (51 percent to 45 percent), Georgia (52 percent to 42 percent), Michigan (51 percent to 45 percent), Nevada (51 percent to 44 percent), and Pennsylvania (49 percent to 45 percent).
The poll findings suggest that Biden leads Trump by a mere one percentage point (47 to 46) in Wisconsin, a crucial pivot state. In 2020, Biden defeated Trump by winning all six of these states.
The survey results are an additional concerning indicator for Biden’s reelection prospects. As he prepares for a rematch with Trump in November, the president is already confronted with doubts regarding his age, polling results, and approval ratings, in addition to a lack of enthusiasm for his most recent White House campaign. The Echelon Insights survey was released at a time when Biden was leading Trump in a number of other general election polls or had narrowed the Republican’s lead.
Additionally, the findings indicate that in the six swing states, where swing voters are most numerous (65%), the Biden administration has been largely or entirely unsuccessful in its three-year tenure. In contrast, only 40% of swing voters consider it a triumph.
Additionally, married women (56 percent), respondents between the ages of 18 and 35 (60 percent), and Hispanic men (62 percent) hold the view that the Biden administration has been an abject failure.
Additionally, a significant proportion of crossover voters (51 percent) attribute Biden’s direct responsibility for inflation, the cost of living, and irregular immigration challenges along the southern border (59 percent). They are anticipated to be among the most discussed subjects among voters prior to the election.
Additionally, the survey reveals that swing voters are more inclined to place their trust in Trump rather than Biden regarding several critical matters. These include border security, “maintaining peace and stability” internationally, safeguarding the U.S. economy, and promoting the welfare of middle class families.
Swaying voters regard Biden as the more qualified candidate in terms of addressing concerns related to healthcare expenses and student loan indebtedness.
In the survey, Trump holds a 5-point advantage over Biden, with 50 percent to 45 percent.

Between March 12-19, a sample of 2,401 prospective voters in swing states participated in the Echelon Insights survey: Arizona (401, Georgia 400, Michigan 400, Nevada 400, Pennsylvania 400, and Wisconsin 400).
Overall, the sampling error margin is +/-2.3 percentage points; in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, it is +/-5.7, +/-5.3, +/-5.8, +/-5.5, and +/-5.5, respectively.
